Wendy Williams Moving Out of Sober House In a Few Days
Wendy Williams has confirmed she is moving out of her sober house in a few days. The 54-year-old talk show host has been living in a rehabilitation center for the past month to overcome her addiction, and she revealed that she spent all her time in a room with no TV, four walls of gray all day. In perspective, she is now ready to focus on creating a “new life” for herself and her 18-year-old son, Kevin Jr.
Wendy did not mention her alienated husband, Kevin Hunter – who recently filed for divorce after 21 years of marriage – but she said she would live as “own Wendy.”
In her nominal show on Monday (15.04.19), she said: “My business is your business.
“I know that after a few days I will walk out of the sober house.
“It’ll be Wendy on her own.”
Wendy admitted her stint in the sober house was “one of the best things” that could have happened to her.
She continued: “I must tell you, you know, I have been dealing with addiction, alcoholism, and I have done a new life for myself and my son.
“Trust me, when you are lying in a room without TV and the entire gray wall… This is my life in a sober house. This is one of the best things, to be honest, this may happened to me.
“When you are here, you will wear different masks. Everyone has something in life, they are not ready to share with the world.”
Wendy, who has a history of drug abuse, vowed to continue her commitment to her recovery and to be “better” and “stronger” for herself and her son.
She said: “Resolving my sobriety, my addiction, positively helped me solve every area of my life.
“I have a commitment to me and my son to come out of here better, stronger and faster than ever.”
Addressing her show, she added: “And by the way, I will still commit. You will forget about my business any moment now.
